JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an engaged and structured coordinator for the Finnish administrative area. The position is a temporary role with a scope of 40% until June 30, 2027. As a coordinator, you will be an important part of the work to ensure that our residents with Finnish as a national minority language have access to services and support according to the Act on National Minorities and Minority Languages, the Social Services Act, the Education Act, and the Language Act.
- Coordinate and develop work within the Finnish administrative area.
- Be the contact person for questions concerning the Finnish language and Finnish/Swedish-Finnish culture.
- Plan and carry out activities that promote the visibility of the Finnish language and culture.
- Collaborate with internal and external actors, including associations and networks.
- Inform and spread knowledge about minority legislation within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Good knowledge of the Finnish language and Finnish/Swedish-Finnish culture.
- Experience in coordination, project management, or similar assignments.
- Ability to work independently and build good relationships.
- Knowledge of the Act on National Minorities and Minority Languages (SFS 2009:724) and other laws covering national minorities and minority languages is an advantage.
